June 2023 Write on the topic of ‘Autumn’ in whatever genre you like. (500 words)

August 2023 Write a short piece to your younger self as if you were a different person. Offer advice or give a message you wish you had received as a child or young adult. This could be in the form of a letter, poem, story, testimony… (400 words)

October 2023 Step back in time to the golden age of the Victorian era and write a true, fictional or factional story pertaining to a member of the upper, middle or working class in the 1800s. (500 words)

December 2023 Open Christmas theme topic. (150 words maximum)

February 2024 Write a piece on the theme of ‘The Anointing ’ in any genre you like. (500 words maximum)

April 2024 Write an ‘Angel’ story in any genre you like. (500 words maximum)

June 2024 Select one achievable thing on your bucket list and write a story as though you have already achieved it. (500 words)

All assignments are voluntary and can be substituted for another piece you’re working on or nothing at all if you prefer to just listen and observe.
